Countering The Mass Shooter Threat – This course is designed to help you understand mass shootings & assist you developing a playbook for every house of worship, school, business & family in America. In the book Countering the Mass Shooter Threat, author Michael Martin analyzes data gathered from 48 mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine, to determine what can learned from these tragedies, including whether a reduction in magazine capacity or the banning of any class of firearm would have changed the outcome.
Martin also looks at whether “gun-free” zones figure into the planning of these mass murderers; whether victim response at any mass shooting has made a difference; and whether “universal background checks” or other proposals by gun control advocates stand a chance of stemming the current trajectory of these shootings. Martin summarizes this data with a comprehensive plan designed to eliminate the scourge of these shooters once and for all. A handbook will be provided to every student & this course can be scheduled at our facility or yours pending appropriate scheduling & accommodations are made. Course will take 6-8 hours approximately and may vary based on individual questions & discussions.

Military/Weapons Familiarization course for those joining US Armed Forces - CII has heard from a number of young men & women that are getting ready to join or have joined the military and are looking for some basic firearms training to get ready for service. I would like to get a list of people that are looking for some basics along with range time to be more prepared for boot camp & future training. I am planning to offer a few sessions of light classroom and supervised range time using the M4, Beretta M9 & Sig P320. The instructor is donating his time to help so the only cost will be for materials, ammunition & targets, which will be fairly inexpensive. Cost will be $35 which includes 5.56mm & 9mm ammo needed for the class. If you know someone leaving for the military in the near future & they may be interested in free training, please have them message us here or email Matt at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can get a roster together & get it scheduled. Please share & get the word out to our youth. The more effective training they get can make a huge difference when the time comes! Thank you!
BASIC SELF-DEFENSE PRINCIPLES & TACTICS - Would you be able to defend yourself and your loved ones if someone were to physically attack you? It’s a question most of us don’t want to consider, but violence is, unfortunately, a fact of life. Thankfully, regardless of strength, size, or previous training, anyone can learn several effective self-defense techniques. We will cover ways to prepare for and stay safe in common real-world violent situations. This class will cover the basics of self-defense principles along with hands-on experience to reduce the chances of being a victim of an attack. This is an entry-level class but will give you hands-on experience to life-saving skills. This is not a firearms related class. Comfortable attire is recommended for the class as there will physical drills for anyone & everyone who wishes to participate. Seats are limited to ensure a low instructor to student ratio so reserve your spot right away. Cost is $20 for adults & $10 for ages 18 & under. Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot.
Women’s Handgun & Self Defense Fundamentals Series – The purpose of this training program is to welcome women into a community that accepts & respects them, but still has the decency to recognize that guns, holsters, and even instruction are not “one size fits all.” The series is programmed to focus on three separate areas of firearms training: Women’s Basic Pistol, Women’s Intermediate Pistol, and Women’s Defensive Pistol.
We will cover understanding pistols & revolvers, gun safety, shooting fundamentals, correct mindset & skills, concealed carry & concealment options, all the way through defense drills & techniques.
For those who have taken basic pistol training, you may want to jump to the Intermediate Pistol or take the Basic Pistol for a refresher. Those of you who have taken Intermediate Pistol training may want to jump to the Defensive Pistol. CII will be offering each in a 3 hour segment. So gather your friends & family & get signed up! Cost is $60 for part 1, part 2 & 3 are $50. All segments will have time on the range with live fire. Part 1 & 2 will require 50 rounds each. Part 3 will require 100 rounds of ammo, at least two magazines with three preferred, strong side holster & purse if desired, and a mag carrier preferred but not required.
Goals of the series are:
- Provide a welcoming, knowledgeable & supportive instructional environment
- Share the importance of firearms safety, ownership & training
- Empower you with the knowledge, skills & confidence required to use a handgun safely & proficiently
- Build the number of responsibly armed women
- Encourage you to get out of your comfort zone, adopt the correct mindset for personal protection, and to train & practice regularly.
